The NSP-8D can be used to perform SAR imaging, including stripmap, spotlight, and circular, and Coherent Change Detection (CCD).
Thanks to the NSP-8D’s low weight and sleek design there is little impact to manned platform performance.
Users can easily swap sensors on a single platform or use the same sensor on multiple platforms.

IMSAR’s NSP-8D provides multiple capabilities and high performance in an aerodynamic and durable casing. The complete system in a single configuration allows for simple mounting under the wing of manned or unmanned aircraft. NSP-8D includes the NanoSAR radar processing unit, the Inertial Navigation System (INS), and mechanically gimbaled antennas. The configuration can include a high-resolution Ku-band NanoSAR or an Ultra-Wide Band NanoSAR with greater penetration capabilities. NSP-8D can increase a platform’s capabilities with little impact to manned platform performance.
